According to Tamaulipas state prosecutors, the five men were kidnapped at about 10 p.m. Sunday (May 25) while en route to a gig in an SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities recovered their bodies on the outskirts of Reynosa, a border city plagued by drug cartel violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The five victims\u2014Francisco Javier V\u00e1zquez, Nemesio Antonio Dur\u00e1n, band manager Livan Sol\u00eds de la Rosa,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V\u00edctor Manuel Garza, and Jos\u00e9 Francisco Morales\u2014were between the ages of 20 and 40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grupo Fugitivo often played at local parties and dances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A post made to the band\u2019s Facebook page Sunday (May 25) indicated they were headed to McAllen, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surveillance footage confirms the men arrived at a palapa bar in the Rancho Grande neighborhood of Reynoso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
