The City and County of Honolulu Medical Examiner reported it as a suspected suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement to Metro<\/em>, the family expressed being \u201cheartbroken and overwhelmed with grief,\u201d requesting privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Later, Madsen told The Los Angeles Times<\/em> he was in shock, recalling his last text from Hudson: \u201cI love you dad.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI didn\u2019t see any signs of depression,\u201d Madsen said. \u201cHe was looking forward to the future.
