Over 750 girls were present. Director Richard Eastland, 70, died trying to save campers. \u201cThis wasn\u2019t a forecasting failure\u2026 it was a breakdown in communication,\u201d said meteorologist Matt Lanza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Delayed Warnings Questioned<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Weather Service issued alerts, but officials argue they came too late.
