The flood hit with little warning, swelling the Guadalupe River and overwhelming the camp of 750 girls. Victims included young girls like Lila Bonner, Sarah Marsha, Eloise Peck, and Renee Smajstrla, just beginning their summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janie Hunt, age 9 and a relative of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, was among the victims.
