A month\u2019s worth of rain fell in just hours, sending water levels soaring to 26 feet and leaving at least 104 dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the danger, the Glennas took time to warn other campers. \u201cThey were able to get into their truck and honk a warning out to a lot of people at the campground, which definitely helped some people make it out,\u201d said their son, Wes Glenna, to CBS News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A GoFundMe campaign supporting the couple praised their bravery, noting they \u201cwere able to save many lives at the campground by honking their horn and waking people up, giving precious minutes for some to evacuate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flooding hit fast \u2014 in under ten minutes. The Glennas escaped with just their truck and the clothes they were wearing. \u201cThey lost everything,\u201d Wes said. \u201cFriends, visitors, co-workers\u2026 They watched it happen. It was deeply traumatic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lyle suffered a heart attack due to the stress but is expected to recover. Community support has poured in, with the couple\u2019s fundraiser surpassing $24,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLyle was able to leave the hospital today. They wouldn\u2019t release him without a new CPAP machine.
