{"id":2422,"date":"2025-07-23T17:54:24","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T17:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horizonvibe.com\/?p=2422"},"modified":"2025-07-23T17:54:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T17:54:25","slug":"father-of-9-year-old-melina-frattolin-charged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonvibe.com\/?p=2422","title":{"rendered":"Father of 9-Year-Old Melina Frattolin Charged"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Father Charged with Murder After Daughter Found Dead in NY Pond<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luciano Frattolin, 45, has been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a corpse after his 9-year-old daughter, Melina Frattolin, was found dead in a Ticonderoga pond on July 20. \u201cSometime after Melina\u2019s phone call with her mother and before Mr. Frattolin\u2019s 911 call, he allegedly murdered Melina,\u201d said Troop G Captain Robert McConnell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.amomama.com\/ca38767b83e867524ac3a17ad8a16057f5400b74e34f9be2da12a90d058a6e5f.png\" alt=\"A photo of Melina Frattolin who was found deceased taken from a post dated March 2, 2023 | Source: Instagram\/lucianofrattolin\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Frattolin had reported Melina missing near Lake George on July 19, claiming she was abducted. An AMBER Alert followed, but police found \u201cinconsistencies\u201d in his story. Surveillance showed Melina was healthy earlier that evening and had called her mother, saying they were heading home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An autopsy listed her cause of death as drowning and the manner as homicide. \u201cThe PBA of New York State is extremely saddened to learn of the death of Melina Galanis Frattolin,\u201d said PBA President James McCartney. Frattolin remains in custody and has pleaded not guilty.
