Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), where she informed undocumented immigrants about their rights when dealing with ICE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Know Your Rights Webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Titled&nbsp;<em>\u201cKnow Your Rights With ICE,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;the February event featured Ocasio-Cortez warning against ICE tactics and explaining legal protections. \u201cWe see how ICE often uses rhetoric to criminalize immigrants,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Backlash and Defense<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former ICE Director Tom Homan criticized the session, and Ocasio-Cortez responded: \u201cI\u2019m using my free speech rights to inform people of their constitutional protections.
