The crash also left two other children critically injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Father\u2019s Grief<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Erin\u2019s father, Pil Jye Ko, emotionally recalled her last words:&nbsp;<em>\u201cSee you later, Daddy and Mommy.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;He described her as&nbsp;<em>\u201ca perfect daughter\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;and said,&nbsp;<em>\u201cShe was all we had.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;Upon reaching the hospital, he was devastated to find her lifeless and severely injured:&nbsp;<em>\u201cShe had so many injuries on her head, her arms, her legs\u2014everywhere.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remembering Erin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Erin, born in Chile to a Korean family, had recently moved to Miami. She spoke several languages and enjoyed volleyball and swimming.
