They argue the claim caused her \u201coverwhelming financial and reputational harm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Controversial Claim<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunter made the allegation during an interview with filmmaker Andrew Callaghan, suggesting that undisclosed Epstein documents might implicate Donald Trump and that Epstein introduced Melania to him. He also linked his claim to journalist Michael Wolff, author of a critical Trump biography. Melania\u2019s legal team insists these connections are baseless, noting there is no evidence Epstein played any role in her meeting Donald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Melania and Donald\u2019s Version<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to both Melania and Donald, they met at a Fashion Week party in 1998 hosted by Paolo Zampolli. \u201cI wanted to see what kind of number he would give me \u2014 if it was a business number, what is this? I\u2019m not doing business with you,\u201d Melania recalled. Donald gave her several personal numbers, and the two soon began dating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No Apology Yet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite legal warnings, Hunter refuses to apologize. When asked directly, he responded, \u201c[expletive] that.
