She was \u201cbound in a restrictive metal vest\u201d and drained of bile \u201c24 hours a day.\u201d Her captors even used a spike-lined vest to stop her from resisting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7351\/27039989685_6eed6ff495_z.jpg\" alt=\"The scars of Caesar's \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Freedom and Healing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2004, Animals Asia rescued Caesar. \u201cTo see her out in the sunshine\u2026 it\u2019s hard to imagine her existence back then,\u201d said Nic Field, director of the rescue team.
