Before surgery, he asked his doctor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cCan you say a prayer with me?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His family\u2019s GoFundMe notes he \u201cshowed strength and faith beyond his years,\u201d and the surgeon said Endre\u2019s courage \u201cinspired the entire medical team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/huffbreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/29-agu-6.3.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8966\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shooter\u2019s Motive<\/strong><br>Westman, who died by suicide, used three legally purchased firearms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities are investigating the attack as a possible hate crime.
