with cousins Laila, 8, and Brylee, 9, the children were thrown into the water when their jet ski struck a dock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At first, officials misidentified the victim as Laila, but it was later confirmed Jordan had passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Family members believe she shielded her cousins from the impact, saving them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
