The football community mourns the death of Billy Vigar, former Arsenal youth player,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
after suffering a severe brain injury during a match for Chichester City in the Isthmian League Premier Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vigar collided with a concrete wall on Saturday and was hospitalized in an induced coma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite surgery to aid recovery, he passed away on Thursday morning at just 21 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chichester City said, \u201cIt is with great sadness that Chichester City Football Club has to confirm the passing of Billy Vigar\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rest in peace Billy. Forever in the hearts of all at Chichester City Football Club.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The club also postponed Saturday\u2019s match against Lewes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
