In a brief, unsigned order,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the justices reaffirmed an earlier stay, giving the government permission to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy had previously blocked the deportations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ruling that immigrants couldn\u2019t be sent to \u201cthird countries\u201d without assurances they wouldn\u2019t face torture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The detainees\u2014reportedly from Cuba, Vietnam, and Laos\u2014have been held in Djibouti since the plane reroute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solicitor General D.
