The Republican-controlled Texas Senate passed the map 19\u20132, despite Democratic walkouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gov. Greg Abbott warned, \u201cDemocrats can run to another state,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
but they can\u2019t outrun the will of Texans,\u201d pledging repeated special sessions until the map passes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the map holds, Crockett may need to move, run in a new district,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
