Back in the day, before we had the convenience of disposables<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(or maybe just a different era of parenting!), laundry was a whole different ballgame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My mom (and probably many others of her generation) had a ritual that sounds unbelievable today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She used to take the dirty cloth diapers, rinse them in the toilet (yes, the toilet!),<\/p>\n\n\n\n
give them a good squeeze to wring out the water, and then toss them into the diaper pail until wash day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bI know, right?! It sounds completely wild, but it was just part of the routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s a true testament to the dedication, resourcefulness, and sheer grit of parents years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
