A serious crash in Dougherty County early Saturday left eight people injured,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
including a newborn, after an EMS ambulance rolled over at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Monroe Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ambulance was carrying three EMS workers and two patients when it was hit in a multi-vehicle collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One patient was a newborn, making the incident especially alarming, but officials confirmed that everyone involved is expected to recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No life-threatening injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emergency protocols were activated immediately, and additional units arrived to treat and transport the injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doctors later ran full evaluations to ensure no hidden complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dougherty County EMS Director James Gibney said, \u201cWe are grateful that no serious injuries occurred, and we appreciate the swift response of first responders at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
