British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh miraculously survived the Air India crash in Ahmedabad while sitting in seat 11A – the same seat that saved another plane crash survivor decades earlier. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner went down just minutes after takeoff on June 12, killing 241 passengers. Ramesh described hearing a loud noise before the crash, then escaping through the emergency exit amidst the wreckage. His brother Ajay was among those who perished.
Remarkably, Thai singer Ruangsak Loychusak survived a 1998 plane crash in the identical seat – 11A. Loychusak, who suffered PTSD for years after his ordeal, expressed condolences while noting the eerie coincidence. Ramesh recalled the terrifying final moments when lights flickered before impact, calling his survival unexplainable after witnessing fellow passengers die. Investigations continue into what caused the fatal crash.
