Ahmed Al-Ahmed, praised for disarming a gunman at Bondi Beach, says he would act the same way again despite suffering serious injuries.
Now recovering in hospital, he has expressed no regret for intervening to protect others.
Serious Injuries
His former migration lawyer, Sam Issa, said Al-Ahmed’s condition is far worse than first reported,
revealing the 43-year-old sustained five gunshot wounds and required multiple surgeries.
He may have nerve damage and currently has no feeling in his arm.
No Regret
Issa emphasized Al-Ahmed’s mindset, saying, “He doesn’t regret what he did.”
He added, “He told me he would do it again… Our hero is not well at all.”
Despite ongoing pain, Al-Ahmed remains resolute.
