Mother of Savannah Guthrie Reported Missing
Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been reported missing from her home in Arizona.
She was last seen in the Catalina Foothills on Saturday, January 31. Savannah was absent from Monday’s broadcast as the search continued.
Investigation and Search Efforts
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that ground and air search teams are involved and that homicide detectives are assisting.
“We’re pretty much just throwing everything at this that we can,” Nanos said, noting concerns due to Guthrie’s age and health.
Savannah Guthrie Speaks Out
In a statement, Savannah said, “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom,” while thanking law enforcement and the public for support.
