Savannah Guthrie breaks silence amid mother
Mother Reported Missing
Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been reported missing from her Arizona home.
She was last seen in the Catalina Foothills on Saturday, January 31. Savannah stepped away from Today as the search began.
Search and Investigation
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said search and rescue teams are working “on the ground and in the air,” and confirmed a homicide unit is assisting.
He added, “We’re pretty much just throwing everything at this that we can,” noting Nancy’s age and health are “a great concern.”
Concerns at the Home
Nanos emphasized the seriousness of the case, saying, “This is very concerning to us… it’s very concerning what we’re learning from the house,” and confirmed detectives remain at the scene.

The case was addressed on Today, with Craig Melvin saying, “We want to get right to what is a deeply personal story for us… Savannah’s beloved mother,
has been reported missing in Arizona.”
