Man who played moving bush in Bad Bunny’s

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show on February 8 generated major online buzz. While fans praised the

music and visuals, one surprising detail stole attention: the massive green “field” around the stage.

What looked like tall grass or sugarcane was actually more than 500 dancers dressed as plants. They stood still to create

the illusion of a living field, a detail many viewers only noticed after clips spread online.

Performer Andrew Athias said he traveled from Philadelphia for the role, which required wearing a 50-pound costume for hours.

His main direction was to stay still and “be one with the grass.” Dancers signed strict non-disclosure agreements and

kept the secret for weeks. Despite earning about $18.70 an hour, Athias said the experience was worth it.

Another dancer, José Villanueva, said the moment nearly brought him to tears.

Beyond the spectacle, the show sparked debate,

with supporters praising its celebration of Puerto Rican culture and Spanish-speaking communities.
