Elderly man dies inside the motel after drinking
Authorities are investigating the sudden death of an elderly man found unresponsive in a roadside motel room late at night.
Witnesses said he had consumed a blue-colored drink and was later seen with two young women. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police reported no signs of forced entry or struggle, and the circumstances remain unclear. Motel staff said the man appeared
disoriented but could still walk and communicate. Surveillance footage shows him leaving briefly and returning alone.
Investigators recovered the drink for testing, and toxicology results are expected to determine whether harmful substances were involved.
Officials stressed that “no conclusions should be drawn until forensic testing is complete,” and confirmed the cause of death has not been publicly determined.
The two women are being treated as “persons of interest,” meaning they may have relevant information.
The case is classified as suspicious but not confirmed criminal pending verified evidence.
