The twins were remembered for their joyful spirits and inseparable bond. “They brought endless happiness to their parents and sister,” said their grandfather, David Lawrence Jr., former Miami Herald publisher and founder of The Children’s Movement of Florida. He described them as “a true source of light in the family’s life.”
Community and Family Support
While grieving, the Lawrence family is focused on honoring the girls’ memory by spreading the joy they once shared. Community members have come together to support the family during this painful time.
A Reminder of Nature’s Power
This tragedy highlights the sudden danger of flash floods and the need for caution during extreme weather. The family’s strength in the face of loss continues to inspire others. As David Lawrence Jr. expressed, their memory will live on through the love they gave.
