Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Death
Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for playing Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, died at 54. Police confirmed he drowned on July 20 near Cocles beach in Costa Rica after getting caught in a strong current. Officials said hypoxia caused his death.

Warner starred in The Cosby Show from 1984 to 1992 and was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor. He later appeared in the sitcom Malcolm & Eddie and the medical drama The Resident.
