Tragic Bus Crash in New York
A tour bus carrying over 50 passengers overturned Friday on I-90 near Pembroke, about 25 miles east of Buffalo.

Officials called it a “mass casualty” incident. At least three people, including a child, were confirmed dead, and dozens more were injured.

Multiple passengers were reportedly flung from the bus or pinned underneath as it crashed into a roadside ditch.

Witness Powell Stephens described the aftermath: “There was glass all over the road and people’s stuff everywhere.

Windows were all shattered.” Photos show shattered glass, scattered luggage, and emergency crews rescuing survivors.

Response and Medical Aid
Medical helicopters and ambulances transported victims to local hospitals, including Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.

The bus had been traveling from Niagara Falls to New York City, carrying mainly Filipino, Indian, and Chinese tourists.

Official Reactions
Governor Kathy Hochul called the tragedy “heartbreaking,” and Attorney General Letitia James said, “This bus crash is heartbreaking, and I’m praying for everyone impacted.”

Authorities continue investigating the cause.
