Henry Winkler Inducted into TV Hall of Fame

Henry Winkler, famed for playing “The Fonz” on Happy Days, was honored at the Television Academy’s 27th Hall of Fame Ceremony on August 17 in Los Angeles.

Sharing the moment with his wife of nearly 50 years, Stacey Weitzman, and family, Winkler called the experience “overwhelming.”

Presented by longtime friend Bob Daly, Winkler expressed heartfelt thanks during his speech: “I would not be here at this podium right now if it were not for you.”

The night also honored Viola Davis, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Mike Post, and the late Don Mischer. Winkler praised television as a collaborative art, adding warmth and humility to the celebration.
