John Roberts Shares Positive Recovery Update
Fox News anchor John Roberts has reassured fans with good news about his health.
After battling a rare case of malaria, he announced,
“Out of the hospital and now recuperating at home.”
A Sudden Health Crisis
Roberts fell ill after a July family trip to Indonesia. He experienced body aches, chills, and even shivered on live TV.
Doctors later confirmed malaria, a potentially fatal disease, after finding dangerously low blood counts.
“I was a little scared… I’ve never felt that sick in my life,” he admitted.
Support and Treatment
Roberts credited his medical team and his wife, Kyra Phillips, for guiding his care.
He also revealed that Phillips helped connect him with a malaria expert abroad.
Calling malaria “an awful disease that needs to be attacked full-force,”
Roberts described five difficult days in the hospital.
