ABC Shooting: Suspect Targe

Federal Arrest in Sacramento Shooting

Federal authorities arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandez-Santana after a

September 19 drive-by shooting outside ABC 10 in Sacramento.

The attack came one day after a protest at the station. No one was injured.

Note and Online Posts

Investigators say a handwritten note in his car mentioned Attorney General Pam Bondi,

FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino,

with language hinting at threats tied to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

On social media, Hernandez-Santana frequently criticized Donald Trump and wrote about being ready to “fight like hell.”

Legal Defense and Charges

Defense attorney Mark Reichel claimed prosecutors are politicizing the case,

saying they are portraying his client as “liberal and left wing” to strengthen charges.

Initially freed on $200,000 bail, Hernandez-Santana was later rearrested on federal charges of interfering with licensed broadcasts.
