a heartbreaking photo of a dog “looking completely broken by her situation” went viral.
The picture, which appeared to show a tear as she gripped the bars of her cage,
moved thousands of animal lovers worldwide.
From Sadness to Joy
Experts explained dogs don’t cry tears from sadness, but the photo still sparked widespread emotion.
Within a day, adoption offers poured in.
The shelter later shared her before-and-after pictures, writing: “Happy Tails.
This sweet girl received a lot of attention today and was adopted.”
