Leonardo DiCaprio reveals his last words
Jane Goodall Dies at 91
Jane Goodall, the world’s foremost chimpanzee expert and tireless conservationist,
has died at 91 of natural causes while on tour in California, the Jane Goodall Institute confirmed.

A Groundbreaking Legacy
In 1960, Goodall revolutionized science when she observed chimpanzees using tools:
“Using a piece of grass as a tool to fish for termites, then picking leafy twigs and stripping the leaves.”
Her six-decade career included founding the Jane Goodall Institute,
authoring books, and serving as a UN Messenger of Peace.
“I’m desperate to make a difference before it’s too late,” she once said.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Tribute
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who shared that UN title with her, wrote:
“Jane Goodall devoted her life to protecting our planet and giving a voice to the wild animals and the ecosystems they inhabit…
My last message to Jane was simple: ‘You are my hero.’”

A Lasting Inspiration
Appearing in over 40 documentaries, Goodall leaves behind a legacy of compassion, science, and activism.
She is survived by her son and three grandchildren.
