Concern is growing for 79-year-old country icon Dolly Parton after her sister Freida asked fans to pray for her.
“Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly,” Freida wrote on Facebook,
adding that Dolly “hasn’t been feeling her best lately.”
Shows Postponed for Treatment
Dolly recently postponed her Las Vegas residency, telling fans,
“I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts… my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures.”
The delay follows a kidney stone and infection that sidelined her last month.
Still, Dolly reassured fans, “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.”

Freida expressed faith in her sister’s recovery, writing,
