Trump snubbed as María Corina Machado
Trump Misses Out on Nobel Peace Prize
Prize Goes to María Corina Machado
The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado for her
“tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.”
Despite being banned from office and facing threats,
Machado continues to challenge Nicolás Maduro’s regime and push for free elections.

Trump’s Reaction and Claims
Donald Trump, who had repeatedly said he deserved the prize, was passed over.
“They will never give me a Nobel Peace Prize. I deserve it, but they will never give it to me,” he said earlier this year.
The 79-year-old president has often cited his diplomatic achievements, saying, “I’ve done six wars, I’ve ended six wars.”
Peace Deal Spotlight
Trump recently announced a peace deal between Israel and Hamas,
calling it “a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.”
