Trump Dismisses “No Kings” Protests, Slams Schumer Amid Shutdown

President Donald Trump mocked the upcoming “No Kings” protests,

calling them “Hate America” rallies and rejecting claims that they relate to the government shutdown.

“They’re saying they’re referring to me as a king,” he told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo. “I’m not a king.”

Trump criticized Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), accusing him of political theater during the budget standoff.

“Chuck is, you know, at the end of the line,” he said. “He’s just so dead that he’ll do anything.”

The president said Democrats’ strategy had backfired,

allowing him to “cut programs that Republicans never wanted—giveaways, welfare programs.”

He also claimed to have canceled a $20 billion infrastructure project championed by Schumer.

Later, Trump revealed that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro “has offered everything” to stop U.S. military operations.

“He doesn’t want to f*** around with the United States,”

Trump said, shocking reporters during a meeting with Ukraine’s president.
