Sophia Forchas Released from Hospital After Church Shooting

Sophia Forchas, the 12-year-old most critically injured in the August 27th Annunciation Catholic Church shooting,
was released from the hospital on October 23rd.
Her parents called it “one of the most extraordinary days of our lives.”

Despite ongoing outpatient therapy, Sophia’s family celebrates her milestones:
improved speech, the return of her personality, and her ability to walk, swim, and dribble a basketball.
