HORROR ON THE TARMAC:

A routine morning at Charlotte Douglas International Airport turned tense on August 16, 2025,

when Frontier Airlines Flight F93134 suffered severe engine damage before takeoff.

The Airbus A320, bound for New York’s LaGuardia Airport,

was taxiing when a ground air-conditioning hose was left unsecured and

“drawn into the intake,” according to eyewitness accounts.

The hose was “shredded in seconds,” forcing the crew to halt operations.

All 267 passengers were safely deplaned, and no injuries were reported.

Airport emergency crews secured the area, and the aircraft was declared unfit for service.

A replacement plane was arranged, but passengers faced a delay of about nine hours.

Frontier Airlines confirmed it has launched an investigation and apologized to passengers, offering compensation.

The incident highlighted how quickly “unexpected events can escalate on the tarmac” and the importance of strict ground safety procedures.
