Buzz Aldrin ‘Admits’ Moon Landing Was
Buzz Aldrin’s Footage Fuels Moon Landing Doubts
Newly surfaced clips of Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, have stirred conspiracy theories suggesting the Apollo 11 moon landing was faked. As America marks the event’s 59th anniversary, some claim Aldrin admitted the mission never happened.
Controversial Interviews Go Viral
In a 2000 interview on the Conan O’Brien Show, Aldrin shocked viewers when O’Brien said he watched the moon landing as a child. Aldrin responded bluntly: “No, you didn’t. There wasn’t any television, there wasn’t anyone taking a picture. You watched an animation.” This awkward moment has since gone viral online.
In 2015, during a National Book Festival, an eight-year-old girl asked Aldrin why no one has returned to the moon. Aldrin replied, “Because we didn’t go there, and that’s the way it happened.”
However, the video cuts off before he explains that missions stopped due to lack of funding and changing priorities, saying, “It’s a matter of resources and money, new missions need new equipment.”
Apollo 11’s Historic Mission
NASA confirms the Apollo 11 landing was real, supported by moon rocks, telemetry, and thousands of experts.
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Aldrin landed on the moon, with Armstrong declaring: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” The event was broadcast live to an estimated 600 million people worldwide.
