Trump Shares AI Video Of Obama Being Arrested
Trump Shares AI Video of Obama Arrest
Former President Donald Trump released what appears to be an AI-generated video showing FBI agents arresting Barack Obama. The video begins with Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and other Democrats saying, “no one is above the law.” It then shows a reenactment of a 2017 Oval Office meeting between Trump and Obama, before FBI agents drag Obama to the floor and handcuff him. Disco song “YMCA” plays as the words “No One Is Above the Law” appear. Later, Obama is shown in jail wearing an orange jumpsuit.
Timing and Context
The video was posted on Trump’s Truth Social account during a week of media coverage featuring former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard, now Director of National Intelligence, released a declassified memo from 2016 challenging the long-standing claims of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
New Revelations on Russia Investigation
The memo, sent to President Obama, concluded that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.” It confirmed that attempted hacks never affected voting systems. “Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” it added.
Vindication for Trump
These findings support Trump’s claims that the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a political ploy. Intelligence officials are reportedly investigating former officials, including CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Director James Comey, for mishandling the Crossfire Hurricane probe. Brennan is accused of promoting the discredited Steele dossier and hiding information from other agencies. A congressional report and special counsel John Durham’s 2023 findings both concluded the Russia claims were unfounded.
