Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne had euthanasia
Ozzy Osbourne Dies at 76
Rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, founder of Black Sabbath, died on Tuesday at age 76. He performed his final show on July 5 in Birmingham, just weeks before his passing. His family said, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning… He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
A Decades-Old Pact
Ozzy and wife Sharon Osbourne had a long-standing agreement about euthanasia if either developed dementia. “Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision,” Sharon said in The Mirror. “If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it – we’d be off.”
Family Reactions
Daughter Kelly denied any suicide pact, calling it “bulls–t my mom said to get attention one time.”
Ozzy’s View
“If I can’t live my life the way I’m living it now… then that’s it… [Switzerland],” Ozzy told The Mirror in 2014.
