Rep. Jasmine Crockett Faces Harsh Criticism from Former Staff
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas known for her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump, is under fire after a New York Post investigation revealed allegations of toxic behavior toward her staff.
Former aides called Crockett “rude” and a “diva,” accusing her of rarely showing up to her D.C. office unless cameras were present. One ex-staffer claimed she “freaks out over the most random things” and “screams at staff.” Another added, “She is laying around her apartment… and is very disengaged.”
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy weighed in, saying, “She may very well be escorted out of office by voters,” and urged people to judge leaders by how they treat their teams.
Sources said Crockett focuses more on media appearances than her constituents and demands luxury treatment, including Escalade rentals and staff opening car doors.
“She doesn’t care about local issues,” one insider said.
