Kayleigh McEnany’s emotional tribute to Charlie
Remembering Charlie Kirk: Faith, Family, and a Lasting Legacy
Kayleigh McEnany delivered a heartfelt tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk,
who was assassinated Wednesday at Utah Valley University.
Recalling their 13-year friendship, she said, “I met Charlie when he was 18,”
and reflected on his early vision for what became Turning Point USA:
“This young man with an idea that became a movement.”
More than politics, Kirk’s faith shaped his life. “Charlie would point right.
More than that, Charlie pointed up,” McEnany said.
He reached struggling youth, “giving them hope in Jesus Christ.”
McEnany honored his family and expressed her deep conviction: “Charlie Kirk did not die today…
the first words that he heard were Jesus Christ saying, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’”
Tributes poured in nationwide.
Donald Trump called him “The Great, and even Legendary,
Charlie Kirk,” and Melania Trump praised his example of “family, love, and country.”
“Charlie’s power just got released in all of us,” McEnany said.
