Horrific Pitbull Attack in Oklahoma
A woman from Okmulgee, Oklahoma, is fighting for her life after being mauled by two pitbulls while riding her bicycle.
Janelle Scott has had all four limbs amputated and faces further surgeries.
Family’s Pain
Her mother, Cheryl Scott, said: “I have to encourage her, and then I have to take a break outside and do my crying.
I try not to cry in front of her, I don’t want her to see me like this.”
How It Happened
The attack occurred on September 9 near a wooded area where Scott’s friend lived in a trailer.
The pitbulls, known to Scott, had escaped.
Police reported she suffered “significant and severe injuries” before being airlifted to Tulsa St. Frances Hospital.
