Fans Pray for Randy Travis Amid New Health Battle
Country music legend Randy Travis, 66, is facing a “difficult and unforeseen complication” in his recovery,
according to an emotional update from his wife, Mary Travis.
From their home in Tennessee, Mary shared that Randy is “strong in spirit, surrounded by love, and held up by prayer.”
This setback echoes his 2013 stroke, which left him unable to walk, speak, or sing.
Against all odds, Randy fought back, becoming a symbol of faith and perseverance.
“His faith never wavers,” Mary said.
Fellow artists and fans have flooded social media with prayers and tributes.
One fan wrote, “When I lost my husband, I played ‘Three Wooden Crosses.’
Tonight, I’m praying that peace finds him, too.”
Though details remain private, Randy is under intensive care and remains stable.
As Mary wrote, “He’s always believed that faith could move mountains — and tonight, that’s exactly what we’re asking for.”
