Dallas Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland Dies at 24

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24,

just days after scoring his first career touchdown in Monday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,”

the team said in a statement, adding that their thoughts are with his girlfriend, Catalina, and his family.

The NFL also expressed condolences, saying,

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of Cowboys’ Marshawn Kneeland.”

His agent confirmed the news on X.

A Michigan native, Kneeland played college football at Western Michigan before being drafted 56th overall in 2024.

He appeared in 18 games over two seasons, quickly earning respect for his work ethic and spirit.

Teammates, fans, and coaches across the league have shared tributes, mourning a life and career gone far too soon.
