Father gives his daughter an old rusty car,
A Father’s Lesson on True Worth
A father told his daughter, “You graduated with honors, here is a car I acquired many years ago…
take it to the used car lot and see how much they offer.”
She returned saying, “They offered me $1,000 because it looks very worn out.”
He then said, “Take it to the pawn shop.”
She did and reported,
“The pawn shop offered $100 because it is a very old car.”
Finally, he told her to show it at a car club. She came back amazed:
“Some people offered $100,000 since it’s a Nissan Skyline R34, an iconic car.”
The father concluded: “The right place values you the right way.”

The moral: find people and environments that recognize your worth—
never let others’ opinions define you.
