Tragic Accident at Home
In 2023, twins Kellan and Aurora died in a heartbreaking accident involving a wooden toy chest in their home.
Their mother, Sadie Myers, shared the story to warn others.
A Seemingly Harmless Object
The children climbed into a cedar toy chest used for storing stuffed animals.
“They laid inside head to toe with one arm each over their twin…

A Deadly Design Flaw
Sadie explained, “Most wooden toy chests once closed are AIR TIGHT and also sound proof.
” The lid shut during their sleep, and the twins quietly suffocated.
“There was no sudden gasp for air… just a very slow transition from sleep to passing on.”
A Grieving Family’s Plea
Sadie urges, “If you have a toy box like this, destroy it immediately!!!”
Her husband Don added, “Please send all of the love, strength and good energy you can muster.”
