Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot during a student event at Utah Valley University on September 10.
A video shared online shows Kirk being struck in the neck and collapsing as blood pours from the wound.
Trump Reacts to Kirk’s Death
Donald Trump confirmed the news, writing on Truth Social:
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead… He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me.”
He added, “Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika.”
Final Post Before Death
Just minutes before his death, Kirk posted about the murder of Iryna Zarutska,
saying: “It’s 100% necessary to politicize the senseless murder…
politics… allowed a savage monster… to kill her.”
Investigation Underway
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche called the shooting a “senseless act of violence” as the Justice Department begins its investigation.
