Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, better known as Anna Polly, died on January 23 in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro.
The 27-year-old reportedly fell from the eighth-floor balcony of a hotel while filming adult content.
Investigation
Police confirmed that Anna was with two men at the time, both of whom admitted to using drugs and alcohol with her.
They gave conflicting statements but were released as the inquiry continues.
A homicide unit spokesperson said: “We are conducting a thorough investigation… from an accident to a possible crime.”
Pressures and Concerns
Sources revealed she faced online harassment and pressure from fans to create “increasingly bold content.”
Authorities are examining whether this played a role in her death.
Tributes
Her boyfriend Pedro Henrique wrote: “It’s so difficult without you… the hole in my heart is only getting bigger.”
Friends remembered her as ambitious and full of plans.
