Harrison Ford has scathing message
At 83, Harrison Ford is voicing urgent concern over what he calls a dangerous rollback in environmental progress under the Trump administration.
The Star Wars and Indiana Jones legend said the government’s climate stance “scares the st out of me**,”
criticizing its approach as driven by “whims” rather than science-based policy.
A lifelong environmentalist, Ford has spent over three decades advocating for conservation,
speaking at UN summits and working with Conservation International.
He condemned the “ignorance” and “lies” surrounding climate change, calling such inaction “historically criminal.”
Ford warned that scientists’ dire predictions are becoming reality,
yet society remains “stubbornly attached to the status quo.”
Still, he holds faith in human creativity,
saying he believes “we can solve the problem if we decide to.”
Reflecting on his lifelong bond with nature,
Ford recalled a childhood moment locking eyes with a wild fox—a quiet realization that “I was part of the natural world.”
