Rudy Giuliani offers brutal 6-word ‘advice’
Zohran Mamdani Faces Backlash After Mayoral Win
Zohran Mamdani will take office as New York City’s new mayor on January 1, 2026,
after winning 50.4% of the vote against independent candidate Andrew Cuomo.
His victory has sparked strong reactions from MAGA supporters and Donald Trump,
who called him a “communist” and warned, “If Communist Candidate Zohran Mamdani wins…
it is highly unlikely that I will be contributing Federal Funds.”
Trump added that the city would become a
“Complete and Total Economic and Social Disaster” under Mamdani’s leadership.
Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani joined in, urging Mamdani to resign before taking office.
“My advice to him is to step down and do something else,” Giuliani told the New York Post,
claiming Mamdani supports “Muslim extremism” and is a “serious security threat.”
Despite the criticism, Mamdani remains set to be sworn in as the city’s first socialist mayor in decades.
